AccessibleEU Czechia - Spring AGORA 2024 (24-WS-CZ-01)

Agora is a conference on information and communication technologies for experts in the field and users with visual impairments, which has been organised by the Teiresias Centre of Masaryk University and, as last year is co-organised by AccessibleEU.

The unprecedented growth of information and communication technologies - hand in hand with activities leading to their accessibility has meant that users with severe visual impairments now have a plethora of aids and services built on information and communication technologies.

These solutions are now relatively easy to access and can be used to compensate for their severe visual impairment. However, they do not always know how to use them effectively or take advantage of all the possibilities offered to them, or they are not aware of the current offer and the options available.

The conference brings together experts, producers and users in order to exchange their knowledge and opinions. Such an opportunity for getting feedback right from the target audience is unprecedented and well welcomed by the community.
