AccessibleEU France - User expertise through the example of a type of transport (AW-FR-01)

This user expertise aims not only to meet the needs of people with disabilities but is also part of an “inclusive” dimension of universal design.

It takes into account the specific needs of people with disabilities by:

• Knowledge of needs: which is based on the daily life and experience of people with disabilities.
• Raising awareness of the challenges that each disabled person is required to analyse as part of this project.
• Solutions that rely on creativity (of designers and users), and validation of solutions by users with disabilities, and product compliance.
