AccessibleEU Hungary - Design shades: non-physical issues of planning accessible environments (24-WS-HU-01)

This AccessibleEU workshop will focus on design requirements and standards for persons with autism and different mental disorder related aspects.

This events aims to share knowledge and explore information resources:

  1. Expand the concept: The knowledge on non-physical accessibility requirements is very poor among professionals working on the design side and also among housing and day-care facilities which provide specialists. A face-to-face discussion is expected to make professionals on both sides understand how to cooperate.
  2. Explore resources: Introduce legislation, standards and up-to-date research results. And make a map of existing information and available and uncovered areas.
  • Target audience: Rehabilitation engineers + other designers. Specialists working with people with ASD and related fields (research - assistance). Social service providers, already running or planning to run services to people with ASD.
