AccessibleEU Netherlands - Digital inclusion and e-commerce for SMEs (WS & MLE-NL-01)

It will update e-commerce organizations about the requirements, and if they apply to them. Or if they may use one of the exception rules.

The event will include a questions and answers session online, a user presentation, a short presentation by the e-commerce umbrella organization in the Netherlands (Royal Association MKB Netherlands) and short presentation by a web-company about their study of the accessibility of websites of e-commerce organizations.

The first part of the meeting is informative and offers an overview of the requirements for the different products and services named in the Accessibility Act by experts and users. This part offers a quick and practical overview to help participants understand if their products and services need changes. And it definitely saves them from reading lots of legal documents.

In the second part of the meeting, will dive into questions and answers, including a presentation by a user with visual disabilities, a short presentation by the e-commerce umbrella organization (Thuiswinkel.org) and a short presentation by a web-company specializing in accessibility.
