AccessibleEU Sweden - Accessibility of self-service terminals (25-AW-SE-01)

This event is a joint effort by AccessibleEU and the Swedish Post and Telecom Authority (PTS).

One of the aims of AccessibleEU is to facilitate implementation of EU regulation on Accessibility in member states. PTS, as a national regulator, has the same ambition. This time, focus is on self-service terminals. Thanks to the relatively narrow focus, the event will be able to stay very relevant to this specific target audience. While this group is limited in size, its impact on citizens, with or without disabilities, is huge. Almost everybody needs to use self-service terminals, and any accessibility problems can cause great frustration.

Details on the event:

  • Target audience: Persons working for companies that produce, import or distribute self-service terminals (SSTs). Persons working with passenger transport services that provide SST:s to consumers (check-in terminals, ticket vending machines etc.). Persons working for banks that offer ATMs. Consultants, regulators and other people who need to know more about SST accessibility and related EAA requirements.
