Digital guide on accessibility for Belgian shops, cafés and restaurants

The guide is available in Flemish and French and is part of a project that aims to provide training in digital accessibility for Belgian trades and services.

Comeos - the organisation representing Belgian trades and services -, Inter and the Wallonia Brussels Accessibility Collective (CAWaB) have launched  a digital guide on accessibility of shops, cafés and restaurants, as well as a webinar on customer-friendly welcome. 

This project was  initiated with the goal to raise awareness and provide training in digital accessibility. It resulted in: 

  • Five testimonial videos (two in Flemish, three in French) for Comeos members. 
  • Webinars in French and Flemish: 
    • Introduction in digital accessibility for Comeos members (September 2023).
    • Training for Comeos members: content creators, designers and developers (October 2023). 
  • Tips and tricks to work on digital accessibility for everybody on the websites www.warmsteentree.be (Flemish) and www.aprèsvous.be (French) (November 2023). Both websites contain the accessibility guide, webinars and case studies.
