
Accessible Europe: ICT 4 ALL will serve as a convergence point, bringing together policymakers, members of civil society, academia representatives, and industry key players. It will be in English and held in hybrid format on 13-14 December in Madrid, Spain.
The first day will focus on strengthening knowledge of policy, decision makers and stakeholders on ICT accessibility. The day will further delve into the European regulatory landscape, and the United Nations approach to digital accessibility, and will conclude with a pitching session featuring innovative solutions from various companies. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a public vote to recognize the most impactful solutions presented.
The second day will start with a session on the current state and good practices in web accessibility, and move on to explore universal design, AI, emerging technologies, and Metaverse.
The event will be held at Fundación ONCE headquarters located at Calle Sebastián Herrera, 15, Madrid. It is jointly organised by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and the European Commission (EC), and co-organised by AccessibleEU. It is supported by the Government of Spain and conducted as part of the Spanish Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
