This is an NPM package developed by the team of the Digital Services Factory, of the Deputy Ministry of Research, Innovation and Digital Policy in Cyprus to support the creation of HTML for gov.cy UI elements, as they are defined in the Unified Design System, upon the compliance with the Accessibility of Websites and Mobile Applications of the Public Sector Law of 2019 (Ν. 50(I)/2019).
The package aims to create HTML that:
- Is as close of a representation as possible of the design elements as they are defined in the Unified Design System.
- Includes the gov.cy branding.
- Uses the govcy design system css classes and javascript functions.
- Uses HTML best practices and be valid HTML.
- Uses accessibility best practices.
- Allows multiple languages.
