The Audiosensory Library of Lithuania organises inclusive publishing training.
The aim of the training is to familiarise publishing houses with the basics of inclusive publishing and, most importantly, to provide publishing house employees and publishing specialists who provide services to publishing houses with the necessary knowledge and practical skills to prepare accessible digital publications.
It is also an aid to every publishing house seeking to prepare for the implementation of the provisions of the European Accessibility Act and the Law on Accessibility Requirements for Products and Services of the Republic of Lithuania (from June 28, 2025) and to ensure that as many publications as possible comply with the principles of inclusive publishing and are accessible to a larger audience of readers.
According to statistics, as many as 10 per cent of the population cannot read printed text due to visual impairment, physical condition or dyslexia.
The training consists of 5 modules, during which both theoretical and practical sessions are planned.
