The Knowledge Badge “Teaching Accessibly” (KB-BFL) is aimed at teachers and interested parties who would like to expand their (education) skills in the area of digital accessibility.
The course is divided into four practice-oriented modules:
- Basics: Understand the basic principles of accessibility and their relevance in digital teaching.
- Diversity of user needs: Learn more about the different needs of your learners and how you can address them.
- Accessibility in the higher education context: Learn how to implement accessible courses and exams at your university.
- Tooling Documents: Develop the skills to create accessible documents and teaching materials.
The Knowledge Badge can be earned by passing a currently free exam. The exam is held in German.
The exam consists of 50 single-choice questions. The questions cover the content of the four modules of the "Knowledge Badge – Accessible Teaching" course. Completion of the course is not a prerequisite for taking the exam.
The KB-BFL syllabus provides an overview of the knowledge and skills expected of participants who wish to earn the Knowledge Badge "Accessible Teaching".
