The law of February 11, 2005 for equal rights and opportunities made it compulsory to make buildings open to the public (ERP) accessible. However, many businesses, medical practices and everyday establishments struggle to comply with accessibility criteria. This proportion even increases to 70% for category 5, ERPs (small public buildings) due to the lack of resources and support.

Endowed with 300 million euros for a period of five years (from November 2, 2023 to December 31, 2028), the territorial accessibility fund (FTA) aims to accelerate the accessibility of public building, category 5.

What can the company finance with this fund?

  • The accessibility equipment and works: for example: works to install an access ramp, works to enlarge, the width of the corridors, to eliminate a step at the entrance, signage suitable...
  • The diagnosis of the accessibility conditions of your establishment: the identification of accessibility actions to be carried out.
  • The support from a project manager during the realization of the work.
