For what purposes will your personal data be processed?
The main purpose of processing of your personal data is to manage your request and authorisation to participate in an event organized by AccessibleEU (hereinafter, the «Event»).
If you provide your consent, the Data Controller will periodically send invitations to events organized for purposes related to AccessibleEU, the Newsletter, surveys related to Accessible EU functioning, initiatives or other matters related to accessibility improvement and other relevant information about the activities or the initiatives of AccessibleEU.
In all these cases, when your authorisation is requested, the type of personal data used for each processing activity will be specified. You can always withdraw your consent, freely, without affecting your relationship with the Data Controller.
In the case of your rights regarding to the recordings or pictures that might be taken during events, the European Commission, as Data Controller, informs you that, if it has your consent, it will process your data for the purpose of promoting the activities and events linked to the AccessibleEU project, as well as public communication, reproduction and distribution of the images or videos indicated in this document. Your personal data will be blocked when it is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, remaining at the exclusive disposal of Judges and Courts, the Public Prosecutor's Office, or the competent Public Authorities, and in particular the data protection authorities, for the attention to possible responsibilities arising from the treatment, during their prescription period. Once the aforementioned period has expired, the Data Controller will proceed to delete the data. Your data may be processed by the Consortium led by the “Fundación ONCE para la Cooperación e Inclusión Social de Personas con Discapacidad”, as the entity in charge of managing the referenced event. How does the Data Controller obtain your personal data?
The Data Controller will obtain your personal data from the following sources:
Personal information provided by the data subject when registering to attend an event.
Personal information provided by a Consortium member (as identified in the Privacy Policy). In that case, the referred organization will provide the following data: identification data (name, surname, ID number (for onsite attendance), nationality), contact data (email address), labor data (areas of expertise), data related to accessibility needs, nationality.
Who are the recipients of your personal data?
The Data Controller may need to share your personal data with the Consortium members (identified in the Privacy Policy), as well as with the national experts in order to manage the access and registration processes.
Additionally, your personal data could be transferred to public authorities whether is necessary to comply with legal obligations.
What are your rights and how can you exercise them?
You can exercise your rights as a data subject Regulation (EU) 2018/1725, in particular the right to access, rectify or erase your personal data and the right to limit its processing. Where applicable, you also have the right to object to the processing or the right to data portability.
In those cases where the processing of personal data is based on your consent, you have the right to withdraw this consent at any time, in a free and accessible manner.
