The Estonian National Accessibility Taskforce was a cross-sector government initiative aimed at identifying and addressing accessibility issues across a variety of sectors.

Comprising public and private sector companies, disability organizations, and individuals with disabilities, the taskforce did conduct  detailed audits to identify key accessibility challenges in areas like telecom, digital services, legislation, public transport, infrastructure, built environment, and audio-visual media.

Guided by industry experts, the taskforce has produced a comprehensive set of recommendations to enhance accessibility across these sectors. Its importance lies in its potential to significantly improve the inclusivity and usability of a range of services, ensuring equal access and opportunity for all, particularly for people with disabilities.
