The Danish Agency for Digital Government has developed a set of principles for digital inclusion in order to advance responsible and inclusive digitization processes.
The principles are to be seen as guidelines for helping public authorities in their work with inclusive digitization and are relevant for individuals working with public digitization or in public service areas where contact with citizens is digital.
The six principles are:
- Be aware of the consequences related to digitization.
- Design solutions for all.
- Communicate in an easily understandable language.
- help citizens with their digital affairs.
- Help those who help others.
- Provide accessible alternatives.
