The nationwide "Accessibility Leader" competition is an initiative aimed at rewarding urban and architectural solutions that contribute to creating more accessible spaces for all user groups, including people with various types of disabilities.

The competition promotes the idea of universal design, which contributes to building a more inclusive society, where everyone can freely use the solutions offered, regardless of individual needs.

The Competition Jury, composed of urban planners and specialists in the field of architectural accessibility and universal design, as well as experts nominated by the Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland, will award prizes in eight categories:

  1. Public space.
  2. A small public facility.
  3. A large public facility.
  4. Office/retail facility.
  5. Residential/hotel facility.
  6. Historic building.
  7. Architect/Urban planner.
  8. GRAND PRIX.

Participation in the competition is free of charge. The competition has been organized since 2016.
