The Théseus project was created by the Masaryk University Teiresiás Centre, which has been providing accessibility of studies at Masaryk University for more than 20 years. It is one of the top centres not only in the national but also in the international context, with an extensive global network of partner centres.
The main aim of the project is to improve the accessibility of websites, applications or documents and to enable people with visual impairments to work with information in a way that minimises the barriers they have to overcome. It also aims to offer visually impaired people meaningful employment and to use their expertise to improve the accessibility of online environments.
