AccessibleEU France - How to move from regulatory constraints to autonomy for all? (AW-FR-02)

This AccessibleEU roundtable will highlight how inclusive design, technology and user involvement can transform our cities, guaranteeing everyone freedom of choice and quality of life, whatever their abilities.

Nearly 20 years after the 2005 Disability Act, more than 12 million French people affected by a disability or loss of autonomy continue to face daily obstacles.

The multiplicity of actors involved in providing accessibility, their lack of training, an excessive focus on technical aspects to the detriment of people, the diversity of needs and uses, remain all challenges to be taken up to build a truly inclusive environment.
