AccessibleEU March events

March has arrived with a handful of events about employment, cognitive accessibility, Design for All and more.

Poland 

On 11 March, AccessibleEU Poland will be part of the 30th Edition of the Spring Fair of Jobs, Entrepreneurship, Technology and Accessibility of the Silesian University of Technology. AccessibleEU will have a stand in this fair to build networks between employers and potential job candidates, including those with disabilities, and to obtain information about opportunities to improve social and professional competences. The job fair will take place in Hala "Nowa” Ośrodka Sportu PŚ, Kaszubska 28, Gliwice. More information

Germany 

Germany is holding two events this month. On 12 March, AccessibleEU Germany will host the networking event Digital inclusion: a win-win approach for companies and customers. It will take place in Microsoft Deutschland GmbH. Walter-Gropius-Straße 5. 80807 München, and it will be held in German in hybrid format. More information

On the following day, 13 March, two exciting practical AccessibleEU workshops will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on the topic of digital accessibility: “Easy testing of websites for laypeople” and “Accessible documents". The workshops will be in German and held in hybrid format in PfennigParade Barlachstraße 24-36, 80804 München. More information.  

Malta 

On 15 March AccessibleEU Malta will hold the workshop Cognitive and Sensorial Accessibility. Neuroscience in Design, co-organised by Agenzija Sapport, the University of Malta and AccessibleEU. This workshop will explore, in relation to the built environment, the topic of cognitive and sensorial accessibility in various fields including design and disability studies. It will take place on Friday, March 15 in University of Malta Campus, Msida. It will be held in hybrid format in English. More information

Bulgaria 

AccessibleEU Bulgaria will host a workshop about accessible employment  on 20 March. It will take place in Shtrak, 3 Hristo Belchev St., ground floor, Sofia and be held in Bulgarian in hybrid format. More information

Luxembourg 

On 26 March, the AccessibleEU Luxembourg workshop Accessible municipalities: Understanding the concept Design for All will take place in Hall Polyvalent - Rue Denis Netgen, 3858 Schifflange. The workshop will focus on sharing knowledge, problems and best practices towards achieving a Design for All. It will be held in hybrid format in Luxembourgish, with simultaneous translation into German, French and English. More information
