Launched in November 2023 by the French Government, the Accessibility Ambassador’s system advises and supports buildings open to the public (ERP) in their efforts to make them more accessible.
Organized in pairs, the Accessibility Ambassadors raise awareness of the issues of the inclusion of people with disabilities and support public buildings (ERP) to develop their accessibility.
Young people provide information on Acceslibre platform, the collaborative platform listing the level accessibility of buildings open to the public.
The relaunch of the Accessibility Ambassador’s system introduces something new: from now on, the young people in civic service will be welcomed directly into state services, and more precisely in the Departmental directorates of your territories and the sea. (DDT/M)
