AccessibleEU is one of the flagship initiatives proposed by the European Commission Strategy for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities 2021-2030. It is a resource Centre on accessibility working on areas such as built environment, transport, information and communication technologies to ensure the participation of persons with disabilities in all areas of life on equal basis with others.

AccessibleEU 2025 Final Report Executive Summary provides a comprehensive overview of the actions undertaken during third year, highlighting main achievements, as well the valuable lessons learned through the year.
Discussions focused on removing environmental, organisational, and systemic barriers to employment, while promoting accessibility, equal participation, and inclusive employment practices across the EU.
Cities across the European Union are invited to apply for the Access City Award 2027, which recognises outstanding efforts to make urban life accessible for persons with disabilities. Submissions are open until 4 September at 12:00 PM CEST.
